Island News is published by Island Press, a division of Hearst Magazines, Inc. The first issue was dated November. 24, 1931. The title was changed to the Stroller’s Weekly. It was later renamed to the Island News Professional and Douglas Island News. H. B. Selby & E. S. Stevens edited the issue. The name was last used until March 3, 1933, when the last edition was released.
